Meet the founder
Hi! I'm Shannon; founder, designer, CEO, packer and, in summary, the person behind the brand of Kaia Equine.
While Kaia Equine is fundamentally an equestrian clothing brand, it's so much more than that. Featuring clothing that is sustainably made from recycled products, the focus behind every decision I make is to provide equestrians with an eco-friendly option for their wardrobe!
As a horse owner myself, I spend a lot of my spare time out and about in the beautiful British countryside but in the past few years it has become impossible to ignore the amount of litter that is scattered all over the place. I began researching into recycled fabrics at the start of 2020 and before I knew it, Kaia Equine was founded.

Sustainability at Kaia Equine
Kaia Equine is a recycled clothing brand for horse riders.
• The Tidal Collection has been made in London entirely from ECONYL regenerated nylon, keeping both equestrians and the environment in mind. Created using discarded fishing nets, carpet scraps and other waste that would have otherwise ended up in landfill
• Every item in The Tidal Collection is finished with care and brand labels that are environmentally friendly and are made using recycled, eco-friendly yarns and are certified to Oeko-Tex® standards.
• Every part of our packaging is recyclable. From the swing tags, to the mailing bags your products arrive in.
• The Alba base layers are finished with a statement zip made using post consumer PET bottles, old fibers or polyester remnants.
• The Revive Collection is made from entirely recycled products including organic fabric scraps that have been collected from factories and recycled plastic bottles.
